About Thomas A. Cunningham

Thomas A. Cunningham, Senior Attorney

Thomas is a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma, the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Arkansas and has been admitted to the Choctaw Nation Courts. His main areas of practice include Probate, Real Estate Law, Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, Business and Banking Law.

Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Psychology from the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. While attending UAFS, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity and held several chairman positions. Additionally, Thomas made the Dean’s List on multiple occasions and was awarded the highest GPA in the chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order.

Thomas continued his education and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He graduated at the top of his class and made the Dean’s List and Faculty Honor Roll. Thomas was top of his class in Constitutional Law I, Trial Practice, Sales and Leases, and Conflict of Laws.

Thomas is a native of LeFlore County, graduating from Arkoma High School. He is an avid hunter, with a love for the outdoors. Thomas is happily married to his wife, Jessica, who is also an Attorney. He loves spending time with family and friends. He is especially excited to do some much needed traveling with his wife in the years to come.

Thomas is very active the Community as he is a board member of the Poteau Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. Additionally, he currently serves as the Municipal Attorney for the Town of Howe, Oklahoma.
